I can confirm this bug.
I have the same wireless card (AR5212 802.11abg).
As berg commented, other people report, that they got the card working
again after installing linux-restriced-modules-2.6.20-16
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=457328&page=3). My problem is,
that i can't find thos
