You might want to ask for help in #ubuntu-motu, but I would say you
shouldn't be editing the configure script directly, but regenerating it
with autoconf.

the problem is that I am trying to do the cross-compilation libavg for the arm

whatever you are trying to compile is simply not linking the boost
library.
