Hi Sebastien, thks for the sincerity.
I understand what you say and the priorities assessment. It'll be a huge
PITA experiencing this for 2-3 more months (until Gutsy comes out), I
just hope it attracts more attention and gets backported before that. Of
course, the closer we get to Gutsy deadline
Would be nice to fix in feisty. The patch is not trivial, we didn't get
many user requests and the team has lot to do. It's low priority for the
moment

This is bugging me as well (I use fluxbox). As expected, all GTK apps
are affected, and it's _really_ annoying. Any plans on backporting the
fix to Feisty? Gutsy is scheduled for October, and this bug is a serious
usability PITA...

Do you have any ETA on when this fix is released? It's quite annoying
when trying to save attachments from thunderbird.
