I tested the latest upstream kernel which seems to oops my system
(alt+sysrq+b won't reboot even, though I'm not sure magic sysrq is
enabled on the machine). I'm not sure how to debug something in such a
state.
As there seems to be a regression in mainline, I think at least this bug
can be closed.
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.9 kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both
the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.
