The Gutsy merge process is currently underway, and gutsy is not expected
to be stable at this time. Usually, dependency issues are addressed
after the archive has been open 4-6 weeks, to reduce load on the
autobuilders.

Scim can not be synced from Debian because it has Ubuntu-specific
changes (which can be seen from the version number 1.4.4-7ubuntu1). To
bring the Ubuntu package up-do-date with Debian, some one needs to
manually "merge" the package.
Zhengpeng Hou said on IRC that he is working on the merging.
