Can you still reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 7.04? I tried opening
various documents and then closing OpenOffice Writer and it didn't crash
on me.

I've just installed Ubunt in my HP notebook and openoffice does not work. It
opens in recovery mode and when I click on Ok button it closes unexpectedly.
Any workaround?
