We have changed the default print management system in Ubuntu from
gnome-cups-manager to system-config-printer. Please open a new bug
against system-config-printer if you still have this problem with Gutsy
or Hardy. Thanks!

I can reproduce this as well in fully updated feisty. After adding a
printer, evince does not allow to select duplex. After changing "duplex
installed" in the gnome printer manager it still doesn't work. After
changing it in the CUPS web interface, it does work.

I created several printers and reinstalled the HP-LIPS. Inside the Gnome
printer administration the duplex option was selected, but in evince only
