With 2:2.1.1-0ubuntu2, the screen now rotates. However, there are severe
graphics corruption issues - the rotated desktop is unusable. An
exception to this for some reason is Firefox - although the interface
elements are corrupt, webpages are drawn perfectly.

I can confirm this with xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:1.9.94 on Ubuntu
Feisty on a ThinkPad X60 tablet. It's exactly as Adrian reports.
