had the same trouble at times audacity skips or stutters when reading
multiple samples
my initial thought are my processor in this system is a pentium 2 so its
not keeping up
my memory isn't extensive enough to handle the track info
i highly doubt both of these as i've run audacity in win 2000 a
Done that.
CPU usage was like 20% .
With gnome-system-monitor I get continuos scratchs while plaing WAV audio file
in AUDACITY. After closing it I get less scratches...
I do not know why this happends only with Audacity and NOT with Sweep or Arduor
or even other simple audio players.
I am thinkin
CPU usage?
use gnome-system-monitor
if you are hitting 100%, it will skip. obviously, you should not hit
100% on your hardware, especially playing a WAV file. if you -are-
hitting 100%, then there is a problem.. somewhere.
