i have sam issue puccaso have but it seems to differ to .dng issue.
how ever:
f-spot fail ( " A null value was found where an object instance was required" )
to import some *random* of my images i din't realise what exacly the
difference is, thay all made with same camera - Kodak DX7440.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducable with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Gutsy Gibbon. It would help us greatly if you
could test with it so we can work

Exactly the same error with the same camera... It's bad as dng is
supposed to be an open format.
It behaves the same if there is only dng images.
There is an error box that gives the option to abort or skip. If I skip,
the skipped image can be imported, but without exif information,
modifications
