I installed your test kernel, I restartet the PC and tested suspend and resume (suspend to RAM) - they're working now also without the nonvs parameter! :-) I also still have this problem (but I don't know if it has something to do with my SONY Vaio or if it is a bug in Unity/Compiz): https://bugs.
