Actually, this isn't a bug. The old-skool Xaw scrollbars need to be
right-clicked to scroll left or up.

left-click on the toolbar and it will scroll right or up
right-click on the toolbar and it will scroll left or up
And because this is annoying and unintuitive, It's addressed in the new
vncviewer in Gutsy that uses GTK toolbars
(mark as fixed upstream?)

I can confirm this. I have the same problem with xtightvncviewer which.
This is very annoying since I always have to reconnect with the
vncviewer and there seem to be no alternatives except something like
UltraVNC through wine. Gnome-rdp has some huge bugs and use the
xtightvncviewer too so it does
