Our experiences were very similar. I installed feisty as a new installation and during the process created an "nholtz" account for myself. After installation, I repointed my newly created account to use my personal files from before, by manually editting /etc/passwd and changing the home director

OK, I now have a bit more info on this. I have just recently changed my two main workstations from kubuntu dapper to feisty (7.04). In both cases, I completely re-installed from scratch (reformatting '/'), *but* keeping my own personal files on another partition. That means that ~/.kde/..., etc

I can confirm this problem. It started happening after I upgraded to Kubuntu Feisty. The strange thing is that sometimes Konqueror behaves like it should, and other times (when opening Konqueror, or just a new window) as have the problem as described above. I could not make out a pattern when exac
