I purged cinepaint, cinepaint-data and cinelib with Synaptic's purge command,
and then installed
cinepaint_0.21-2-0ubuntu4.1~proposed1_amd64.deb
cinepaint-data_0.21-2-0ubuntu4.1~proposed1_all.deb
and libcinepaint0_0.21-2-0ubuntu4.1~proposed1_amd64.deb.
And I get a similar crash (on amd64 as w
Albin, I rejected the feisty-proposed upload. Please:
- do not use ~proposed version numbers any more, see updated
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/SRU (we can copy packages from proposed to updates
now)
- get the currently pending SRU verified and to -updates first
- Not only describe the *how*

To be sure, I did this:
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge cinepaint cinepaint-data libcinepaint0
Then reinstalled the proposed again, but it still does the same thing.

Script-fu is there because of a previous installation. please apt-get remove
--purge the package and try to reinstall it from -proposed to see if it still
happens

I just tried the proposed version, and it's about the same. I think I'll
post the full output:
$ cinepaint
Locale not found in /usr/share/locale
Locale not found in ../po
Locale not found in /usr/share/locale
** WARNING **: Cannot open selected ICC assumed image profile:

That should not happen, please uninstall cinepaint and try to install it
from feisty-proposed, and tell me if the bug still happens. (should be
fixed)
