Chirstopher, I am nut sure if it has sense. I tried Ubuntu 12.10,
OpenSuse 11.2. and LinuxMint Live and it's same on all distros despite
using various kernels. Seems as general intel_idle, acpi_idle and/or
intel Panther QM chipset problem, so I reported it to buzilla.kernel.org

please boot into a non-mainline kernel (one that came with Ubuntu by default)
and perform the following at a terminal:
apport-collect 1102460

Did so. Apport told me I am running mainline kernel, however, everything
described here was 100% same using stock 12.04 kernel.
