Hi Brian,
I changed xorg.conf as suggested. On restarting X I got a message saying
Gnome Keyboard setting varied from X keyboard settings, which one to
use. I chose X. I then got about 5 of the same error messages copied below:
/Error activating XKB configuration.
It can happen under various circ
No particular reason. I chose a us-intl keyboard as my keyboard layout
during install because that was what was detected after trying out a
few keys.
