Ok, so this bug is about the typo in the wireless.sh script only.
In the attached branch, I've fixed the typo, but maybe the file
/etc/acpi/wireless.sh should get removed completely?
Or is it good to have it around for calling it manually?

Well for ibm thinkpad you are true, ibm-wireless.sh is called. And I can
say it works perfectly on hardy beta : toggle between wireless,
bluetooth, both or none is OK.

While I agree that the typo should by fixed, I cannot see where
/etc/acpi/wireless.sh gets called automatically (and therefore would cause
issues during hibernate).
Do you mean that you call /etc/acpi/wireless.sh manually to toggle the wireless
state? Or is it configured somewhere as an action?
this is still true on 2008 03 21 !

Changing this to toggleAllWirelessStates allows my laptop to power off.
As standard the PC will hibernate but fail to power off, requiring a
physical powerdown by the powerbutton. This did not effect or corrupt
the resume as long as I waited a few seconds after the text screen
output from hibernate
