Rear mic doesn't work. The front mic is not connected from the
motherboard. Don't know if line-in is working.
Tried to change vref on rear mic - it didn't work on any setting.

do you mean both rear and front mic does not work ?
it is strange that pin-ctl of front and rear mic are different
you can try hda-analyzer to change vref of the rear mic
does the line in work or not ?

Removing doesn't make the microphone work. In fact, I have inserted this
string trying everything possible to enable the mic.
