Especially, if the cursor is within virtual box, it locks after leaving
virtual box only.

I've experienced this bug ever since i started using Ubuntu, it's
present in all version starting from 12.04, i think it's important to
fix it as soon as possible.

This bug is present in Ubuntu 15.4. I've also experienced identical
behavior in Mint.
I have frequently been able to observe information on a monitor or
operate the keyboard and mouse within a session for a couple of seconds
between when the monitor wakes and when the screen lock intervenes.
What
This bug also seems to affect machine's in a locked state. When I return
to my PC after locking it (without suspending) and the monitor is off,
it takes a few moments for the lock screen to appear. During this time
the desktop is both viewable and editable. This is quite a security
concern.
