A little hint on this - if I turn off "Menus have icons" in Ubuntu Tweak tool and restart the application (tested Geany and Shutter) - the duplicate menu items are no more, or to be correct they now have correct labels. Which package should this belong to, hints anyone? I'm changing over to unity

Those are not duplicates, but the item's label is wrong. Looks like a Unity/dbusmenu bug where it shows the label associated with the stock icon rather than the proper label itself… Anyway, I doubt it's a Geany bug, especially if it appeared after a upgrade of Unity or dbusmenu update. -- You r
