After running the "scriptor" command on ubuntu terminal ,I got the below
output.
No reader given: using MUTEK PT3901-2 PCSC Reader
Can't allocate Chipcard:: PCSC:: card object: Readers is unavailable

Found the bug: PCSCD is version 1.8.5, while the pcsc-tools is compiled
with version 1.8.3.
Downloaded the new software from
http://ludovic.rousseau.free.fr/softwares/pcsc-tools/ which solved the
issue.
