Bad news. It behaves like before, i.e. hanging there, and the strace
output is like above.
My versions are
ii libburn4 0.3.8-0ubuntu1library by which
preformatted data get onto optical media
ii libisofs4 0.2.5-0ubuntu1library to pack up h
Please do try once again with newest uploads of libburn & libisofs although it
has nothing to do with what you just described.

It seems that *this* problem is not there anymore, at least it now tries
to burn the CD.
However, it now complains that it cannot lock the drive. I guess that
should be a different bugreport, but FWIW, here is what it prints on the
console:
gnome-mount 0.6
Device /dev/hdc is in /etc/fstab with mo
Can you still reproduce the problem in gutsy?

gutsy.

I'm experiencing the same problems as paumarc since I updated to feisty two
days ago but I can burn anyway some audio CDs.
The time to wait before Brasero starts to burn seems to depend on how
many mp3 files I want to convert to audio CD files. I tried to forece

I canceled because it didn't do anything, i waited for a couple of minutes
ans the program didn't worked at all (progress bar didn't move and when i
canceled the cd still being empty)

This issue has now been resolved in Feisty. I am unaware at present
