This is also undesirable when the user would like to use the OTF fonts
only and not the TTF fonts. VLC can better query font-config where to
find the font needed, making it irrelevant if it is OTF or TTF and how
the font files are installed.

2.0.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.1). You are using the vlc package from the stable-
daily PPA [1].
