I can confirm this on a Dell Latitude X1, see attached screenshot. Note
that the kernel tries to get hold of the SATA controller (at least)
twice; one in the beginning of the text and one in the end.
haelters: I'm not sure this is a duplicate. Yes, SATA fails in both
cases, but with different erro
I am also suffering from this bug in kernel 2.6.20-14. Seems to be a
problem with the (P)ATA driver?! The system hangs at a message talking
about my DVD drive, which is connected to my PATA port. I believe the
PATA is controlled by a marvell chip. My system is an intel mainboard
with core2duo CPU.
