is called "Gauja" and it's serial number is 36397. It's out of warranty
now as well.

as I have no hard lock up if I don't use the ethernet.
What can I do to troubleshoot this further?
I haven't tried keeping both ethernet and wifi up and attempt to ssh via
wifi, but I daubt that will work, as machine do
Cannot ssh into hte machine over the ethernet, as the ethernet card is deducted
to be the cause of the lockup.
Cannot collect i915_error_state file, as cannot switch to tty nor ssh in.
I have tried this with -15, -16 ubuntu kernels and the 3.6rc4 kernels
and the 3.6-final.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.6 kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both
the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.

For GPU lockup bugs with Intel graphics, you need to collect the output
of 'dmesg' and your /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_error_state file. Both
of these must be collected while the machine is locked up (e.g. by

Nevermind the kernel version. Happens with both ubuntu's stock / latest
3.5 kernel as well as the mainline kernel ppa 3.6-final.
