I found the iso image itself is fine, but the Ubuntu CD/USB writing app cause
this issue.
When I write CD/USB by Windows app, it boots.

I also tried DVD media install burned from the iso. (to MacBookAir hardare).
No success, and be forced to boot from the legacy internal SSD ubuntu version.

I have a similar problem using an Acer Aspire S3.
Sometimes I get a black screen, however I always hear the "drums" sound.
I am not sure if this problem only happens when there is no network connection,
will test it tomorrow.
