I have same issue. It indeed happens when the last window gets
minimized, and alt-tab ends it. I also think it's somehow related to
chromium..

hi have the same problem, it makes Unity completely unusable.
i try to purge and reinstall unity, but the result is the same.
(using 12.10-64bit, core 2 duo 2.53GHz, xorg-edgers ppa, nvidia gt230m.)

I have attached the clip. I have since solved the issue through re-
installing. I think the issue was related to me installing the web apps
preview in 12.04 before I upgraded to 12.10beta. The issue seemed to be
when I minimized the last window. A way to end the flickering I later
found was to alt+
youtube does not open for me please attach video to launchpad.
