Netowrk manager says disconnected but is connected and working

@Mikael Nilsson: Definitely the same case along with all recent bug
reports on network-manager. Things used to work for me since
0.6.4-6ubuntu3 and with 0.6.4-6ubuntu4. Maybe a patch was left out of
0.6.4-6ubuntu5?

Same here. After upgrading to 0.6.4-6ubuntu5 connectivity was lost
(wired static configuration) and Knetwokmanager indicated the "no active
connection" red x. After rebooting connectivity was back but the same
behaviour continued in Knetworkmanager. Manually downgrading to
0.6.4-6ubuntu4 instantly
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Could you please add the contents of your
'/etc/network/interfaces' file? Thanks in advance.
