The bug report seems to be flawed. As I explained, the "beep" tool has
nothing to do
Removing 'beep' package as the bug is not in that package.

Thank you for your report. This bugreport though has nothing to do with
the beep package. The settings you change have no influence over what
the beep utility emits. Please be referred to the manual page of beep on
how to change the duration (-l switch). You can't change the loudness
via beep itsel
