I do not like invalid status for this bug. Accordingly to https://help.launchpad.net/Bugs/Statuses Invalid: the report describes the software's normal behaviour, or is unsuitable for any other reason. I can hardly imagine that missed usb mouse driver is normal behavior. The bug might be fixed ind

I think the bug can be closed. In the last drm-intel-experimental kernel 3.6.0-994-generic #201209210422 SMP Fri Sep 21 08:30:05 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux the USB modules are present, kernel build config file looks sane, the size of linux-image-extra-... package has grown significantly la

USB kernel modules are missed in drm-intel-experimental kernels (-994). I checked mainline kernel (-999) and it has plenty of modules for USB peripheral. I was expected that .config file for drm-intel-experimental at certain moment was corrupted, A lot of modules are not chosen for build. Could

This issue appears to be an upstream bug, since you tested the latest upstream kernel. Would it be possible for you to open an upstream bug report[0]? That will allow the upstream Developers to examine the issue, and may provide a quicker resolution to the bug. If you are comfortable with openin

Plenty of options are missed in kernel config file, so the modules are not built at all. Just compare config files for mainline and drm-intel- experimental kernels (-999- and -994-). ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification becaus
