the USB modules are present, kernel build config file looks sane,
the size of linux-image-extra-... package has grown significantly la
USB kernel modules are missed in drm-intel-experimental kernels (-994).
I checked mainline kernel (-999) and it has plenty of modules for USB
peripheral.
I was expected that .config file for drm-intel-experimental at certain moment
was corrupted, A lot of modules are not chosen for build.

This issue appears to be an upstream bug, since you tested the latest
upstream kernel. Would it be possible for you to open an upstream bug
report[0]? That will allow the upstream Developers to examine the
issue, and may provide a quicker resolution to the bug.

Plenty of options are missed in kernel config file, so the modules are
not built at all. Just compare config files for mainline and drm-intel-
experimental kernels (-999- and -994-).
