this problem is solved in final feisty release. there must have been
some bug in daily langpacks, but in feisty final it is ok. marking as
rejected.

Weird, it works for me even if I remove the Name[de] and Comment[de]
sections from the .desktop file, and TomaszD recently confirmed that it
also works in Polish. I need to take a closer look at this.

Of course i use daily packages. As a matter of fact, German should be
the *only one* working translation, and that's because it's included
directly in the .desktop file. No other language should work. Watch:
$ grep "Name" /usr/share/applications/restricted-manager.desktop
Name=Restricted Drivers
The .desktop is fine, it works well with e. g. the German langpack.
Maybe the new translations are not yet in language-pack-gnome-cs? Did
you check the daily language packages?
