Do the following commands (e.g. from entered in a terminal) work?
1. electricsheep --zoom 1 --root 1
2. electricsheep --zoom 1 --mplayer 1
The first method does not display anything at all here, when started
manually (but works when started as the KDE screensaver).

the screensaver only fills the upper left 640x480 rectangle of my
1024x768 screen. Interestingly enough, it seems that _sometimes_ the
screensaver switches to fill the entire screen at some point (after

What do you mean exactly? Does it fill the whole screen or is there only
a 640x480 sized window?
