I made it work on Lenovo E530, and Linux Mint 13.
You need to download and compile drivers from Realtek.
Realtek RTS5229_Linux_Driver_v1.07..
Follow the Readme,txt
>make
>sudo make install
>sudo depmod
Reboot!
