By the way who did Apple send the notice to regarding this? I see that the animation plugin is still being maintained upstream (http://forum .go-compiz.org/viewtopic.php?p=5934#5934 ) and I can't find any mention of Apple and compiz-extras. I'm surprised that the scale plugin hasn't been targeted.
