I think i traced it down to 3.3-rc6, where a couple of patches have been
included:

Tried v3.2.28-precise, crashes as well. :( So 3.3 doesnt seem affected,
every 3.2.x release is.
The patch is for 2.6.x, since that's Redhat's main kernel ( 2.6.32 ).

I can verify ( and reproduce ) this on an iscsi-based 3-node cluster (
which is why i changed the topic to remove the drbd reference ) based on
