KJots Broken in 12.04

I found a solution!!! I saw Bug #966913 and saw that there were issues
if the directory/file weren't created/populated previously that things
are stored in a cache. Obviously not directly related but roused my
suspicions. Kmail used to have a similar problem that it didn't work
when first started (

Checking on a Kubuntu 12.10 daily build VM the issue no longer exists. Same
applies to OpenSuse 12.1. Must be some kind of packaging problem I believe.
Same issues as above.

KJots is without any function in Kubuntu/Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
It's not able to create a book to write into.
