Thanks for the updates. This is now fixed and released. Install as per Michal
Zajac's post. The Kubuntu team should take care of the dependency to call
Redshift when Plasmoid installed.
If this does not happen for any reason then please feel free to file a new
report.

@UbUK plasma-widget-redshift in Trusty, however I just noticed that due
to a mistake on my part it does not pull in redshift by default:
sudo apt-get install redshift plasma-widget-redshift
should do the trick.
