had a look at the two links:

- The machine does not break neither sleeping nor waking up. Simply it
wakes up by itself. When it wakes up, it does so perfectly, both from
sleeping and from hybernation. The kernel logs also look

Tested on the quantal 3.4.1 kernel. So sad: bug persists. System cannot
be suspended nor hibernated. Actually, it can: only it spontaneously
gets out of such resting states 1 second after entering them.

Finally managed being in a place where I can download the quantal

Haven't managed testing the most recent upstream kernel, but noticed
that suspend does exactly the same.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.4kernel[1] (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Once you've tested
the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag(Only
that one
