Sorry guys, problem is solved. I don't know how, but the file suffix on
the CentOS installation was changed to *.tgz. With this suffix, file-
roller was able to unpack the file. With *.tgtz, file-roller reports an
unsupported file type even if it's the same file. This is the same
behaviour as in Ub
- Yes, it is reproducible.
- Download OpenFOAM-1.5.General.gtgz from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=135709&package_id=148942&release_id=613491
- Right-click on the file & select "unpack here" (translated from german, could
be a similar term)

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: file-roller
Hi all
I wanted to install OpenFOAM-1.5. Unfortunatelly it wasn't possible to
unpack the downloaded *.gtgz files with file-roller. This problem does
not occur in CentOS 5.
It was possible to unpack the files by executing 'tar xzf filename.gt
I have exactly the same problem with Ubuntu 7.04 final. I tested also
with Fedora 6 and OpenSUSE 10.2 (Gnome). There the error doesn't occur.
