Running the Maverick beta on an Acer Aspire 1410 and the internal Mic
does not work. I have looked at alsamixer and attached detailed
information about the setup. Trying to use Empathy to do SIP which
doesnt get any audio from the laptop mic.

Figured out the cause of this problem.
If I suspend my laptop and it hangs for whatever reason when I try and
bring it back up (happens a lot due to a different issue), I will hard
reboot (hold power button down) thus causing the issue. I would guess
that the suspend portion is disabling the int

I updated to kernel version 2.6.30 and it does not have this issue.
Please consider back-porting the character driver code from a later
kernel. Karmic has a newer version kernel and should not be affected.

using the Moxa serial driver on a MOXA C168H/PCI series board, the port
is unavailable to use again until after a reboot. Ive noticed some
activity recently on the GIT changelog for the moxa.c driver source t
i have the same slow fps problem with the Creative AF 2MP webcam and it
does not get faster after a reboot. In Ibex I was getting near 25 fps
in 640x480 via GUVCVIEW and now in Jaunty I am only getting 7fps in any
resolution.

To rotate my screen (in 8.10) I had used the following commands:
xrandr -o right
xsetwacom set "stylus" Rotate CW
xsetwacom set "cursor" Rotate CW
xsetwacom set "eraser" Rotate CW
In Jaunty (9.04), I now get the following error:

Have the same issue with a HP TC4200 tablet with an upgrade to Jaunty
this morning 4/10. The pen works as a cursor just fine out-of-the-box
in the normal landscape orientation, however, I cannot use it in the
portrait mode as the pen is still in landscape orientation.

I had the same problem. After loging into KDM, artsd crashed on
initialization. (System was under stress loading all sorts of programs
back into sessions)
