Definitely not fixed for me in Intrepid. I have one USB audio device that has only a PCM mixer, so the workaround does not apply. I want to assign it to a dial on my keyboard, but any adjustment will mute 1 channel, etc. can only adjust with alsamixer-curses. good thing I prefer to use an externa
