I can confirm this. All plugins operate normally, however Pidgin is
either not saving the plugin selection or the preferences are
cleared/corrupted.

Hi, the bug is still persistent. It does not matter whether I choose
whether it is hex or a passphrase. I know the password is right because
I was able to successfully log in by bypassing the applet.

T41p. Up until this point, my system would wake from suspend just fine.

Thank you for the follow-up. I'm using a ThinkPad T41p. The graphics card is
an ATI Mobility FireGL T2. The error occurs when enabling 3D acceleration
via the Restricted Drivers Manager. I am able to run the Desktop Effects
with poor performance via the standard drivers.
