Is there a warning somewhere about this? Because including the library
but not the header is bound to frustrate quite a few people. You know
thinking it should be working because it's in the library. I know it
took me quite a bit of investigation to figure out what was going on.
And from my experie
I also found out that it is because the package is unstable from upstream. It
seems like it's been an issue in Debian also. Might I suggest that you do like
they did and upload an experimental package so that it does not break what we
have.

Oh, nevermind then... everything from qt3d5-dev to libqt53dextras5
brings me back here. So I will be waiting for an answer. Thanks!

Another info: if I switch to nvidia-304 AND update-alternatives to use
nvidia-304 AND reboot, I'm back to normal screen resolution, BUT I'm only able
to log in using Gnome, no way to have Unity.
If then I reboot once more, update-alternatives has been put back to mesa
again, and screen is in low
Something else I noticed, not sure it's expected:
$ sudo update-alternatives --config x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf
There are 3 choices for the alternative x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf (providing
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/x86_64-linux-gnu_GL.conf).
SelectionPath Priori
Not sure this really helps, but may still give a hint:
$ tail /var/log/nvidia-prime-upstart.log
Sorry but your hardware configuration is not supported
lspci gives:

Hello I'm a friend of Ghislain Bugnicourt,
and after a few tests here is what we understood :
While reading BootDmesg.txt
[8.246609] [drm:init_ring_common] *ERROR* failed to set render ring head to
zero ctl head tail start
[8.246624] [drm:init_ring_co
I've tried changing around the output profile as well as the connector
profiles, but nothing has changed. The only way the sound seems to work
is if I plug in my headphones.
