2.6.27-11 fixed about 90% of the problem for me on Intrepid. (Dell Inspiron 9400; Vendor Str="Dell Inc.". g-p-m 2.24.0-0ubuntu8.2; system fully up-to-date) The problem now is: The OSD is displayed but progress bar increment/decrement is in small steps (min brightness at 50% mark). If the progress
