I confirm that on Ubuntu 11.10 beta1 the behaviour of Guake is as
described above. Having a dual screen setup I can clearly see that the
Guake window is shifted on the right by the same width of the unity bar.

I can confirm that the bug does not affect clean installation procedure if
"updates" and "extra codecs" are not checked. I reproduced this on two
different systems (desktop and laptop), both dual booting (one ubuntu 10.04 and
