The specific issue is that the "dock" is exposed and it doesn't feel

I have the same issue. It forced me to revert back to 19.04 from latest
ver. of 19.10.
It was already a problem since week prior to release of 19.10 (when I

There are 2 alternatives what to do:
1. make the evolution appear normal. this can be done by editing
/usr/share/applications/evolution.desktop. Change the "Exec=evolution %U"
line to "Exec=evolution" (my understanding the %U adds the "--express" switch)
and then re-login. Problem with this
