i also have a problem with shutdown, it starts just fine but after a
while screen becomes full of garbage & shutdown sequence stops. I have
to press power button for 5 seconds to get my laptop to shut down.
Machine is Toshiba satellite A200-S17

getting this same message when booting on gutsy. Sound, video etc. seems
to work fine. sometimes logout don't work just getting a screen full of
garbage, i have to do a hard reset

i have Toshiba A200-S17 and brightness down (FN+F6) works fine but
brightness up (FN+F7) does not, when pressing it indicator goes up for
one step and pressing another time it goes down for one step! brightness

i just got toshiba satellite A200, installed gutsy tribe 6 and noticed
that when plugged headphones speakers won't mute, also sound setting

that zd1211rw driver is for my belkin usb wireless card which was
connected so that i was able to report this bug, sorry for not
mentioning this in my original report. Basically my belkin pcmcia card
is detected but no drivers are loaded

having same problem, after checking my restricted drivers option there
is following: driver: lirc_gpio enabled but status is :not in use. in
feisty all i got when trying to use restricted drivers was you do not
need use these. my laptop uses ATI IGP 340M
