[Bug 26634] Re: Screen becomes garbled during boot splash screen

I am experiencing this problem using 7.04 Stable. My PC is a Gateway FLEXATXSTC BRO 300S with the Intel 82810E. I have experienced problems in the past with this chipset and Ubuntu, but recent releases have been fine up to Fiesty. Just the boot splash is garbled, once X starts everything goes back
