With the latest Jaunty kernel source 2.6.28-6.17 and a custom compiled kernel
that has the old hci_usb driver , bluetooth works on my laptop. It was only
working with 2.6.24 kernel before. Other relevant packages:
bluez 4.12
bluez-utils 4.12
libbluetooth2 3.29
libbluetooth3 4.12

I had a similar problem for my gateway MT6017. Every time I resume from
suspend the screen is dimmed and I can not get it back up without
reboot. When I changed "Auto Dim" in Bios to "Disable" the problem was
fixed.

I canged the file /etc/network/interfaces
pre-up nice -n 19 wpa_supplicant ...
and restarted the network: sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

I can confirm this problem for rtl8187 card. I have a custom compiled 2.6.22
kernel and wpa_supplicant works fine using ndiswrapper and wext. When I move to
2.6.24 I can only make unencrypted network working. Wpa_supplicant can not
associate. I compiled ndiswrapper from source and tried both 1.5
