Don't know if it helps - but after unplugging my iPOD, i got a slightly

I recently made a fresh install of ubuntu edgy (2.6.17-10-generic kernel),
using gnome (2.16.1-0ubuntu1).
After installation ("apt-get install amarok) up goes amarok's initial
configuration dialogue, in which i was able to configure the mysql settings,
but then amarok crash
